ArCADia Soft

WE CREATE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS FOR ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION

ArCADia BIM

The emergence of the ArCADia BIM system is a logical consequence of the ArCADiasoft philosophy to meet the needs of designers at all stages of project development. The system intelligently supports and coordinates all participants throughout the design process in line with BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology while creating a comprehensive building information database. It provides complete control and security at all stages of design while streamlining and accelerating implementation.

ArCADiasoft – CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING SOFTWARE

ArCADia have over 20 years of experience in creating computer applications for the construction industry and more than 100 products for architects and engineers. Our programs range from structural design to interior and installation design to energy performance of buildings calculations to buildings’ surroundings design.

ArCADia BIM 11 – NEW VERSION

ArCADiasoft – BIM SYSTEM – OVERVIEW

Today, ArCADia BIM is more than twenty industry-specific modules. These include installation solutions for water, sewage, electricity, heating, etc., and programs intended for engineers to construct and calculate. These programs use a common database of objects (buildings), enable full cooperation between the various industries and the exchange of information and projects within and outside the system. ArCADia applications have IFC format support, which allows the user to collaborate with other programs such as Allplan, Archicad, or Revit.

Software based on a well-known and developed for many years CAD platform, which guarantees full compliance with the DWG format.

Included features :

  • Support BIM technology, object-oriented architectural design.
  • Ready-made architectural elements: multi-layer walls, stairs, bases, columns, chimneys, windows and doors.
  • Comparing and merging documents.
  • Automatic floor entry, additional support for Teriva ceiling design.
  • Drawing of flat and spatial technical documentation and its writing to the native DWG format characteristic of most CAD applications.
  • Work on layered drawing with the ability to use groups, blocks, external references and raster backdrops.
  • Precise drawing with the ability to use Cartesian and polar coordinates, characteristic points and tracking.
  • Work on a real-world model and the ability to print at any scale from a specified sheet of paper.
  • Generating statements.
  • Supporting the IFC format. A possibility to exchange design data with other programs.

ArCADia software features:

The first Polish software for the construction industry allowing the designer to work in accordance with BIM technology.

Software that uses many solutions that significantly accelerate design work in the construction industry. By using objects such as a multi-layer wall, doors or windows, the user can quickly create CAD drawings, without losing anything from the full compatibility of the project with the DWG format.

The ArCADia program ends Autodesk’s monopoly on the market of CAD programs, bringing to an end unjustified overpricing and proving that a program with high quality and functionality can be available at a price which is corresponding to the capabilities of each designer.

BASIC TOOLS OF THE SYSTEM

Library

Built-in library that allows for detailing with 2D symbols and 3D objects needed in the drawing.

Collision

Collisions list of all or individual ArCADia system elements on a view, 3D view and a clear list.

Merging

The possibility to merge the building model from an architectural design with the installation design models to create one complete model of a building project.

Comparing

The possibility to compare two versions of a project created as an ArCADia system model in the scope of new and modified system elements.

Smart TOP 10

A smart list of the most often used commands that are automatically memorized when working on a project, creating a personalized tool palette.

Visualization

Showing elements drawn in the view in a classic or the new 3D view rendered in real time (visualization using a 3D game engine).

Walls, windows, doors

Inserting elements such as wall, pipe, etc. using the smart tracking function.

Project Manager tree

Managing views and the displayed information through the clear tree of the Project Manager.

Dimensioning

Possibility of entering linear and angular dimensioning.

Elements

Built-in library of all elements types, with the possibility of expansion.

Custom setting

Saving custom settings for elements (pens, fonts, default element sizes, etc.) in the project template.

Title blocks

Creating and inserting title blocks with the option of saving them to the program library.

ArCADia BIM – BASIC MODULES

ArCADia

CAD software for the construction industry, supporting 2D and 3D design, based on the IntelliCAD program.

ArCADia PLUS

Software for the construction industry, supporting 2D/3D design, option to create and fully edit ACIS solids.

ArCADia LT

Program that allows object-oriented creation of 2D building documentation and saving files to the 2018 DWG format.

Architecture & Communication

Intended for architects and all who shape and create building forms.

ArCADia-ARCHITECTURE contains specialized architectural functions and options to accelerate the creation of documentation, including: automatic cross-sections, automatic dimensioning or lists creation. Thanks to the BIM technology used, the designer creating the architectural design automatically receives a digital model of the building. Because to that, the design process can be controlled on the interactive 3D preview at all times.

This module expands the capabilities of the ArCADia BIM program with advanced functions, which means that part of the building modelling options are available in the ArCADia BIM program:

ArCADia LT, ArCADia, ArCADia Plus

Advanced features of the ArCADia-ARCHITECTURE module:

WALLS

  • The insertion of arch, single- and multi-layer walls.
  • The possibility to transform a 2D drawing created from poly lines or lines into the plan of single- or multi-layer walls, virtual walls or a foundation plan.

SCRIPT WINDOWS AND DOORS

  • The insertion of windows of various shapes (circular, triangular, with an arch, etc.) including the possibility of setting horizontal and vertical divisions and defining the visibility of windowsills or cutting the opening itself in a wall in the shape of a special window.
  • The insertion of single and double arched doors, including additional side or top lighting, revolving, sliding, swinging, and evacuation doors/emergency exit doors.

FLOORS/CEILINGS

  • The insertion of any floor/ceiling by indicating its shape.
  • Entering openings in the ceiling automatically or by hand.
  • The insertion of a floor on the ground in rooms of the lowest level.

ROOFS

  • Inserting multi span roofs with full editing capabilities (changes to pitched or mono-pitched roofs, changes in knee wall height and inclination for each roof slope separately).
  • The insertion of windows and openings in the roof.
  • The insertion of dormer roofs (dormer windows).
  • The insertion of a timber structure from the R3D3-Rama 3D program (roof slopes exported to R3D3-Rama 3D are structurally calculated, while the roof framework is returned to ArCADia-ARCHITECTURE).
